We are super excited to be wrapping up a month of certifications this summer as we pilot TechFWD with the Stamford Partnership. For the last several months Publio has created a community program to upskill area residents in career-building content marketing strategy and tactics.

TechFWD Summer syllabi includes:

  • Grow with Google. Participants learned how to create and manage a Google business profile from start to finish.
  • Content Marketing. Participants learned how to run a successful inbound business, from marketing to sales to services. This includes certification classes for HubSpot Inbound, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing and SEO Fundamentals.

This program was funded by the City of Stamford and delivered in cooperation with the Stamford Partnership and the Ferguson Library.

We worked with experts in eLearning to design a program that prepares learners for low-code/no-code marketing careers, TechFWD is designed to prepare learners for certifications from HubSpot and SEMRush.

According to the Stamford Partnership Website:

“We believe that the workforce of the future will be comprised of digital-savvy lifelong learners. And we’re here to help. TechFWD provides you with the training you need to learn the digital skills that fuel personal and professional growth.”

The courses are self-paced online training covering the strategies and tactics of content marketing:

  • HubSpot Inbound Marketing
  • HubSpot Social Media
  • HubSpot Email Marketing
  • SEMRush SEO Fundamentals

A unique “navigator” model was used and followed a weekly cadence: Monday course overview and Thursday Q&A sessions. The actual courses are taught by video with supporting materials and certification exams from the two Boston-based tech companies.
